Every once in a while I amuse myself by scrolling through the visitor paths to this site. Most of them are as opaque as my commenters’ identities, but every once in a while I’ll stumble upon something interesting.
Like, for example, the French monsieur or madame who ended up at the DGreport seeking God-knows-what tidbit of information pertaining to Downers Grove. Or the denizen of Cote d’Ivoire, aka the Ivory Coast, who was Googling “firefighters association.”
The parochial bus story seemed to attract a fair number of foreign visitors for some reason. Thoman’s recent “Buying a beater” post scored a London hit.
In recent weeks, this site also has seen hits from Germany, Denmark, the Philippines, Japan, Thailand and Belgium. But the most unexpected by far? That would be the visitor from Tehran, Iran.
