Its my understanding that some council members believe the tax increase should be higher!!
The really impactful tax increases are coming from the school boards, and they’re hardly getting any attention.
All this angst over Heritage Fest is just a distraction from holding the school districts accountable for their budgets.

That may be true, but the village isn’t trying to divert any attention from the school district. If anything, they want it all to be on the school district.
